Tropical Sea
Painted in 2004, "Tropical Sea" depicts a section of rugged coastal Sri Lanka, which Dan has visited often in the course of his work. Some of you may be looking fondly upon the light-turquoise water -- seemingly unique to the tropics in general and very much a feature of the Sri Lankan experience.
The blue boat, precariously moored on the tiny beach, awaits its owner. He or she is taking a dip, perhaps, or possibly spear fishing just out of sight...
Giclee prints of this painting look smashing framed and hung (as the artist's wife can attest). Even with a generous mat, the print will fit gracefully on many walls. Remember, too, that if your print doesn't work for you after you receive it, you are welcome to return it for a refund of the purchase price.
